TINY *ITTY BITTY KITTIES* (ages 5 and under)
Our tiny team is considered beginner level 1 and practices once a week for an hour. This team performs at all local competitions and will be traveling again this year to the Cheer Expo Grand Championships to defend their title! Last season we had one of the largest tiny teams in the Maritimes and they were undefeated! Our coaches are hands on during their performances. This team is a great way for children to work on their social skills before they start school!
MINI *KITTENS* (ages 6—8)
Our mini team is considered intermediate level 1 and practices once a week for an hour in the summer and an hour and a half in the fall. This team performs at all local competitions and will be traveling again this year to the Cheer Expo Grand Championships to defend their title! Like our tiny team - last season we had one of the largest mini teams and they were undefeated! This team is competitive and the athletes stunt without their coaches at competition.
*NEW* YOUTH *BOBCATS* (ages 9-11)
New to our club in 2011-2012 we added an additional youth team that will practice once a week. This team will be advanced level 1. The Bobcats will perform at all local competitions as well as Cheer Expo Championships.
YOUTH *CUBS* (ages 9—11)
Our youth team is considered advanced level 2 and practices once a week in the summer for an hour and a half and twice a week come the fall (1.5 hours and 2 hours). Last season the Cubs were the largest team in our gym! This team performs at all local competitions and will be traveling Cheer Expo Grand Championships! Our youth team is where athletes begin to do backhands, one leg stunts and more advanced transitions and dances!
JUNIOR *CHEETAH* (ages 12—14)
Our junior team this past season was advanced level 3—this seasons level will be determined during the summer! Our junior team practice for an hour and a half on Wednesdays in the summer, come the fall they will also practice on Sundays for two hours. The cheetahs will compete locally, Cheer Expo, and a big trip at the end of the season!
SENIOR *COUGARS* (ages 15—18)
Our senior team was one of the first teams to travel to Toronto Nationals in 2007 where they placed third. CA Snr was National Champions in 2008 in Hali- fax and Max Out Champions in 2009/2010 in Montreal. This past season our senior team was co-ed level 4.2. This seasons’ team level will be determined in the summer!
*NEW* PARENT *PUMAS* (ages 19—100)
Our parents team is a brand new team—this past season 2 weeks before the final competition 19 parents did a demo performance! They were incredible and were a huge hit, they were everyone’s favourite performance of the event! The pumas will compete locally and at Cheer Expo! This is a great team for parents to better understand what their children do and the kids love seeing their parents cheer! Parents make sure you fill our the Parent Team Registration form!
