Carleton All-Star Cheerleading is one of many programs at the Carleton Community Centre. In 2009/2010 season Carleton no longer attended community center competitions and began functioning as an all-star program with five teams! We are continuing to grow and this year added two additional teams to bring our program to 7 teams!
Carleton has a totally different atmosphere than any other cheerleading program – all of our athletes agree any other program ― is just not the same. At the Carleton Community Centre you do not just come to cheer — you can come to be with your friends. As a result we have a very fun atmosphere in addition to very productive practices.
All-Star cheerleading is the fastest growing sport in Canada , especially here in Saint John. It is even on track to being considered as an Olympic Event!!! Athletes work towards perfecting a two and a half minute routine, which includes acrobatic stunting, tumbling and dancing. Being a member of Carleton All-Stars is a great way to build self- confidence, friendships and develop social skills. All-Star cheerleading is the ultimate team sport, as it relies on every member of the team to be successful. This is why attendance is so important at every all-star program.
All-Star Cheerleading is scored by a panel of judges and is broken down into levels by age and ability. The United States All-Star Federation (USASF) is currently the main governing presence in our industry, and Carleton All-Stars will form our teams based upon the age and ability levels specified by the USASF.
By joining Carleton All-Star Cheerleading you will be joining the BEST cheer family around! Don't believe us??? Ask any of our cheer parents!!!
